Monthly equivalent
Minimum-wage earners are paid daily, so the monthly figure depends on how many days you are paid for. Gross figures:
| Daily rate | 22 days | 26 days | 261-day factor ÷ 12 | 313-day factor ÷ 12 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ₱550 | ₱12,100 | ₱14,300 | ₱11,962.50 | ₱14,345.83 |
| ₱525 | ₱11,550 | ₱13,650 | ₱11,418.75 | ₱13,693.75 |
| ₱520 | ₱11,440 | ₱13,520 | ₱11,310.00 | ₱13,563.33 |
Statutory minimum-wage earners are exempt from income tax on their minimum wage and on their holiday, overtime, night differential and hazard pay.
Overtime and holiday pay at ₱550 a day
With an hourly rate of ₱550 ÷ 8 = ₱68.75:
- Ordinary-day overtime: ₱68.75 × 1.25 = ₱85.94 per hour
- Rest day or special non-working day, 8 hours: ₱550 × 130% = ₱715.00
- Regular holiday, 8 hours: ₱550 × 200% = ₱1,100.00
- Night shift 10 PM to 6 AM: ₱550 + (₱68.75 × 10% × 8) = ₱605.00
Put your own numbers into the overtime, holiday and night differential calculator; the rules are in the overtime pay rate guide and the night differential guide.

The regional wage board reported finishing virtual consultations on 5 October 2026, which usually precedes a new wage determination. Because RBVI-29 took effect in November 2025, the board’s annual review is due. If a new order is issued, the NWPC’s Region VI page will show it first.
