Monthly equivalent
Minimum-wage earners are paid daily, so the monthly figure depends on the number of days you are paid for. Gross figures at ₱505:
| Pay arrangement | Calculation | Monthly equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Paid 22 days a month | ₱505 × 22 | ₱11,110 |
| Paid 26 days a month | ₱505 × 26 | ₱13,130 |
| 261-day factor (Mon–Fri week) | ₱505 × 261 ÷ 12 | ₱10,983.75 |
| 313-day factor (six-day week) | ₱505 × 313 ÷ 12 | ₱13,172.08 |
Statutory minimum-wage earners are exempt from income tax on their minimum wage and on their holiday, overtime, night differential and hazard pay.
Overtime and holiday pay at ₱505 a day

- Ordinary-day overtime: ₱63.125 × 1.25 = ₱78.91 per hour
- Rest day or special non-working day, 8 hours: ₱505 × 130% = ₱656.50
- Regular holiday, 8 hours: ₱505 × 200% = ₱1,010.00

Kasambahay in the Cordillera
The household worker minimum is ₱6,600 per month across all provinces of CAR under Wage Order CAR-DW-07 (effective 30 December 2025), up ₱600 from ₱6,000.
A wage adjustment may be under review
The Cordillera wage board held sectoral consultations in Baguio in September 2026 and consulted regional councils on a wage adjustment at the end of the month, with some agriculture and small-enterprise groups asking to keep the ₱505 rate. No new order had been issued as of 17 October 2026. The NWPC CAR page is where any new order will appear first. For comparison, the NCR minimum wage is ₱755; see all regions in the minimum wage by region guide.
